My word for 2009 is accomplishment. This means that I hope to accomplish a lot this year like: building this website so that I will have better visibility to my readers, taking a few writing courses to improve my craft, finding an agent to handle submissions and business details, finding a home for my YA mystery romance DEJA VU, and finishing my MG story about life and loss, THE LONG WAY HOME. And I've already started planning for success.

Kaeden Books is holding MY BACKYARD POND, a rhyming NF picture book, for possible publication.
In February, I will be taking an online writer's course, HAPPY HOOKERS! ENGAGING THE READER FROM START TO FINISH by author Terri Spear.

I will be attending the Columbia SC book festival.
